Disneyland - The 'Spooky' Version

Over fall break, Tyler and I were lucky enough to stay with family in California a mere twenty minutes away from Disneyland. We'd never been there over Halloween, so it was a pleasant surprise to see Disneyland's take on the holiday -- orange, pumpkin-covered, and 'spooky,' never scary. I could have easily stayed even longer than our amazing, 3-day, park hopper tickets permitted (did I mention I love this place?), but unfortunately real life picked up again this week. Top 22 Disneyland trip moments after the jump.

1. Leaving our house in Tempe at 4 am and driving straight to the Woody and Friends Parking Lot
2. Getting coffee
3. Seeing Mickey signing autographs on Main Street, riding a train to the other end of the park, and miraculously seeing him again in Toon Town
4. Contemplating what happens when two Mickeys accidentally run into each other during park hours
5. Listening in on trendy moms discussing the best Disneyland ride wait time apps
6. Seeing the World of Color show at California Adventure
7. Checking out the new Cars Land
8. Standing in the Toy Story Midway Mania ride line for 45 minutes while sipping on the Karl Strauss Oktoberfest
9. Going to the Nightmare Before Christmas version of the Haunted Mansion
10. Debating which vintage Disney attraction posters to buy for our (very distant future) babies' nursery
11. Finding the periodic table in Innoventions
12. Sailing in our own boat for It's a Small World
13. Children constantly climbing on rails, running into people, and just being in their own little worlds
14. Seeing the Grand Canyon diorama
15. Riding the teacups at night and imagining covering our yard in paper lanterns
16. Posing in front of Monsters U
17. Going to Tom Sawyer's Island for the first time EVER
18. Watching Billy Hill and the Hillbillies
19. Goats standing on barrels
20. Me failing at asking people to take our picture in front of the castle -- everyone looked so busy with their kids!
21. The crazy costumes people wore for Mickey's Halloween Party as we were leaving the park: minions, Han Solo, a man in drag as Princess Jasmine, zombie children, and so on
22. Daydreaming about what life will be like by the next time we go to Disneyland
